Love him or hate him, we need steve johnson
Having lost only one game since his inclusion in round 6, and lose it we only did on the last kick, we need stevie j. Has kicked a goal in every game he has played since coming back, and no surprises we lost to st.kilda last week in the nab cup. stevie was MIA.

Steve Johnson has proven more than how good he is on the footy field, he's proven how much of a man he is off it as well. If the young people can adopt the same self sacrifice and team decipline he has showed in the face of adversity, i have great faith in the future of our young people and hold great faith in our furure as a nation.

there are two kinds of people in aus people who love stevie and people who hate stevie and i love him if he just controls himself he might have a chance at a brownlow :-)

He's a freakish player, completely unpredictable, in a good way! I might add that at the open day down at Kardinia netball courts (after he played a brilliant game against Melb in the NAB cup opener), he was the friendliest player by far. I know how crap and boring signing millions of autographs is for the players, so most of them were haughty to say the least. But he kept his sense of humour and was really lovely to my 8 year-old daughter. Good job Stevie J!

How can you not love watching Stevie J on a footy field.... the guy is only a couple of levels shy of G Ablett Snr & Peter Daicos for having the ball on a piece of string...

Keep him fit & out of trouble, and he'll be as important as Cam Mooney is in keeping opposition defences occupied... I reckon he'll be pulling no.2 defender every week this year ahead of Lonners / Hawkins

Steve is awesome, no doubt. But it is a bit hard to pin the loss to St Kilda on him given that Scarlett, Harley, Egan, Ottens, Bartel, Ablett & Wojcinski did not play.

Steve will be an All-Australian again this season. If he pulls his head in he will become a future leader at the club..
