What the !
Yesterdays game wasa disgrace, what the hell is happening doen there, it cant always be the coach, seriously they need a psych to get in there and get into there heads and sort this mental attidude or lack of out.
I love you guys and have always supported you, but yestreday I was angry and disolusioned. We had no basic ball skills what so ever and you played like you were going to break anail - Wooden spponers 14 yrs in a row is not even funny anymore.

I agree Ben, McCleod would have been a very good pick-up, must admit, not a fan of Lloyd!!

I agree with you a few points Rhian in regards to trying players in different positions. I was thinking the same about trying Tarrant in defence. He a big body with good aerobic capacity and could possible try matching up on the big full forwards like Fev, etc...Neesham is doing a great job at Clontarf (i use to live directly opposite that college). A few thingls though...I'd say we made a lot of big bues in the early years...back then we were synomous with crap draft decisions. we gave up priority pick of Matthew Lloyd to get Tony Delaney from Essendon, we lost picking up McCleod cause apparently Neesham pissed him off during the draft interview and McClead said he'd never play for Freo...I reckon our best bet is to start playing the young kids and test their metal...hopefully they'll play with more passion that some of our mid tier 50+ gamers who were very disappointing.

if we do trade for any players from other clubs I'd target some of those out of contract from Geelong...we need speedy midfielders with good disposal and a full back. no disrepect to grover but he's playing outside of his position for someone of his size...as we found out when Richo clearly dominated him

the dockers started their reign of mistakes many many years ago, when they got rid of Neesham, he said it was a five year project and they let him go after four....and all these years later they are still making it, keeping coaches too long (Drum) not getting the right ones, getting rid of players too soon, keeping players too long, not playing players in the right position (e.g. try Tarrant in defence). And for the record Neesham is now producing future top AFL players through the Clontarff School.
