It seems some people who lost out with their bets when Sirengate occurred are suing the AFL. Of course, they can't sue the betting agencies because the stipulations of betting state that results are paid out on the AFL's official post-game sheet; so, they are suing the AFL, saying they shouldn't have sent the post-game results sheet because "it should have been apparent to them that the Dockers would lodge a protest."

At risk of sounding like I'm editorialising the news, this is one of the most stupid and baseless lawsuits I've ever heard, and I look forward to these punters paying the legal costs that the AFL will accrue fighting this garbage.
