Ratten calls Williams a 'bad loser'
Carlton coach Brett Ratten has labelled his Port Adelaide counterpart Mark Williams a 'bad loser' after the latter made statements denigrating Carlton's raft of high draft picks over the last few years prior to the Power losing to the Blues after fading out in the final quarter.

"Personally I didn't think Mark would be such a bad loser, but yeah, that's the way it goes," Ratten said.

"That's his point of view and that's the way he sees it. I thought every team got a first-round draft pick, when they go to the draft," Ratten said. "Maybe it might be to deflect what he's got going on over there."

mark williams is a bad loser, all he ever does is make excuses on how port loses there games and never acknowledges that they were just beaten by a better team. maybe he should wake up and realise his team is the laughing stock of the afl right now.

He probably meant whatever bad press was arising from his team's repeated fade-outs.

This isn't anything new. We all knew Williams is a bad loser, and a bad winner (choking gesture). He's shown that time and time again. It's all part of the way Port Adelaide's history says it should conduct itself.

mark cant congradulate any team on winning...its all excuses of that his team was down and not the opposition outclassed his team on the day.

Perhaps he should have made the famous choking gesture.
