Jarrad Waite and his girlfriend are attacked in Lorne by four attackers wielding beer bottles.

The incident is under police investigation and is described as a random unprovoked attack.

Waite and his girlfriend received medical treatment without requiring hospital stay. Facial injuries sustained by Waite will not hinder his preparation for the 2008 AFL season.
