A MENTALLY fragile Ben Cousins is being encouraged to tell the AFL Commission everything about his drug taking, rehabilitation and stunning relapse in what looms as a watershed day for Cousins and the AFL.

Just a week since his five-day cocaine bender put him in a Los Angeles hospital, Cousins is planning to fly to Melbourne this week with his father Bryan to prepare to appear in person at next Monday's commission meeting.

The AFL will decide -- if it hasn't formed a view already -- if Cousins' career is over.
