Fevola was found urinating in public on a bar window during the early hours of the morning and confronted by the barman.
Video camera footage then shows Fevola shoving the barman before crowd control staff intervened.
Fevola is cleared to play in the Blues' opening game against Richmond but has been dropped from the leadership group and will undergo education and counselling.
Blues CEO Greg Swann says that Fevola has been effectively banned from consuming alcohol and any further problems will result in Fevola being sacked from the club.
"We have said to him we want him to return to a 100-a-year goalkicker," Swann said. "He can do that if he gets off the grog and looks after himself."
