Tony Liberatore volunteers to speak to the AFL regarding his allegations that Carlton deliberately lost games to secure a priority pick during his time as assistant coach.

"If he put a specific allegation to us about the Carlton Football Club then we would go and speak with the Carlton Football Club and look in to it," AFL chief executive Andrew Demetriou said.

Carlton chief executive Greg Swann says that an AFL investigation would only be a minor inconvenience.

"I wouldn't welcome a probe because it's going to be a pain, but I am happy to have one because we haven't done anything wrong," Swann said.
