The AFL decides that no action will be taken on the Eagles based on the findings compiled by former Victorian Supreme Court judge William Gillard into West Coast's off-field issues.

AFL Commission chairman Mike Fitzpatrick ruled that the Eagles had changed their culture of misbehaviour and had not brought the game into disrepute.

"We believe the report was thorough and tough, and Justice Gillard believes the culture of the club has changed. We agree with that." Fitzpatrick said.

Despite having been exonerated, the Eagles still lack answers regarding Chad Fletcher's near-death experience during an off-season trip to Las Vegas.

Fletcher has refused to provide the club with medical records which are believed to indicate that he had indulged in illegal recreational drugs during his time abroad.
