Burnsy is a top player, he plays the mid-field extremely well. Extremely understated player.
Go burns

at least our captain is one our own!! not from another club!! shows how good the leadership potential is at carlton! lance whitnall was ya last captain, that says it all
Joel from Perth (Magpies supporter), 2 Mar 2008 11:42 hide comment
Go comment on your own players dip****. You must have a secret love for collingwood, because you would never find one of us wasting our time looking at carlton players
Jessica (Magpies supporter), 20 Feb 2008 22:07 hide comment
capable... the demons wouldn't even know the meaning of the word, i understandable that yours guys are so bad that you have to come onto a magpie comment room to find where the real talent lies

Funniest thing I ever saw on a footy field was Nathan Buckley getting a centre clearance at the Gabba on a Sunday afternoon and launching a massive kick.....right into Burn's face. I think it broke his nose and busted all his teeth....Hilarious. Pity Rocca wasn't on the end of it.

Mate you could hit Rocca's face with a wrecking ball and it wouldn't look any worse than it does already

if you think that bad then you obviously havent taken a good look at Fevolas face then, and have a good look in the mirror and tell me what the half chewed mintie looks like staring back at you

Scotty will never die wondering if he went hard enough. Should be next captain.

I reckon Burnsy should be captain too. At first I though Maxwell but I think he needs a few more years of maturity until he's captain material. Burnsy fully deserves it after what he's put in for the Pies.
Daniel from Melbourne (Magpies supporter), 20 Feb 2008 7:46 hide comment
Scott Burns is a legend. Mick should get on with it and just make him captain.
Jordan (Swans supporter), 16 Feb 2008 14:49 hide comment

Absolute gun! Has never ever shirked a contest in 13 years of tough, relentless footy. Forget blokes like Maxy and Josh, if they don't make Burnsy captain for this year and hopefully the next, they have got rocks in their head down at Lexus.

He is the best leader on and off the field we have got by a mile. Make him skipper and make Heater Shaw his vice captain and let the rest of them fight it out for deputy vice captains.
